THOUGHTS
Ps 27:14
Wait for the LORD; Be strong
and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for the LORD.
Luke 21:19 By your endurance you will gain your lives.
[In your patience possess ye your souls. KJV]
Rom 15:4 For whatever was written in earlier times was
written for our instruction, so that through perseverance and the
encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.
Rom 8:16-25 The Spirit Himself testifies with our
spirit that we are children of God, 17 and if children, heirs
also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with
Him so that we may also be glorified with Him. 18 For I
consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be
compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us. 19 For
the anxious longing of the creation waits eagerly for the revealing of the
sons of God. 20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not
willingly, but because of Him who subjected it, in hope 21 that the
creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the
freedom of the glory of the children of God. 22 For we know that the
whole creation groans and suffers the pains of childbirth together until now. 23
And not only this, but also we ourselves, having the first fruits of the
Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting eagerly for our
adoption as sons, the redemption of our body. 24 For in hope we have
been saved, but hope that is seen is not hope; for who hopes for what he
already sees? 25 But if we hope for what we do not see, with
perseverance we wait eagerly for it.
Col 1:11-13 strengthened with all power, according to
His glorious might, for the attaining of all steadfastness and patience;
joyously 12 giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified
us to share in the inheritance of the saints in Light. 13 For He
rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of
His beloved Son,
Heb 12:1-3 Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of
witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and
the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the
race that is set before us, 2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author
and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising
the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3 For
consider Him who has endured such hostility by sinners against Himself, so
that you will not grow weary and lose heart.
Jas 1:3-4 knowing that the testing of your faith produces
endurance. 4 And let endurance have its perfect result, so that
you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
My Prayer:
Strengthen us with your power O God that we might be complete, not lacking
anything. We praise and honor you our God. May your great name be on our
lips continually. Help us to wait on you with all patience and
endurance. Give us an eagerness for life, make us to know the joy of your
salvation, and support us in our overcoming.
In Jesus name Amen
